Christmas

Oh what a wonderful Christmas. We had so much fun spending the last week in Arizona with family. We can't wait till we move back and can be close all the time. Christmas eve we had the traditional Cuban feast with Bryant's family. It is always lots of fun to get together. Christmas we spent opening presents and eating lots of good food at different houses. One of the perks of having both families in Mesa is that there is always lots of people to see and lots of food to eat. We had Malisa's sisters help take a family picture of us while we were down. Tucker looks so cute (thank you Natalie).

Tucker did a really good job opening his Christmas presents. He even opened one before Malisa finished wrapping it.

All of us girls got Tinkerbell pajama pants to wear on Christmas morning. It was lots of fun.

It is good to be home even though we are counting the days (months for now) until Malisa has the next baby and we move back to Mesa (only 6.5 months)

What a month

November was Tucker's month to learn new things. At the begining of the month he only knew how to get around by bouncing on his butt. Now he moves around very fast on one foot and one knee. Tucker also knew had to stand while holding onto things but could not pull himself up. Eventually he learned that if he got on his hands and feet he could walk up things with his hands to get to a standing position and now he can pull himself up to a standing position. He has gotten really strong. One day this month he woke up in the morning and I went to get him out of bed and he was sitting up (another thing he learned how to do this month) and when he saw me he started clapping. It was cute that he just all of the sudden decided that he knew how to clap.
Tucker loves to babble. Bryant and I swear that he says that he loves us every now and again but I'm sure we are just imagining it more than anything. It has been a lot of fun to watch Tucker grow this month. I can't wait to see so many of you around Christmas it will be so much fun.

Oh ya about the pregnancy. I am actually doing pretty good. When I was pregnant with Tucker I was so sick all the time and threw up after everything I ate almost. I spent my days sleeping on the couch and doing nothing. With this pregnancy I have only thrown up on a few days. Most of my days a pretty alright. I feel a little nauseous most days but nothing that interferes with life most days. I have a lot of really good days where I hardly even notice that I am pregnant. I really hope it stays this way (especially for the long drive down to Mesa for Christmas--which I am so excited for!!!!).

Crawling

So Tucker started crawling by scooting on his butt. Then when he would fall on his tummy he only knew how to move backward and so he always ended up under the couch. Then he started crawling on his right foot and left knee. This is is fastest means of transportaion. Everynow and again Tucker crawls like a bear on his hands and feet. It is pretty funny

Halloween

Halloween is so much fun!! (Especially when you have a baby to dress up and make so cute!!) Here are a couple of pictures of Tucker and Bryant. We didn't take too many pictures but isn't Tucker the cutest bumble bee you ever saw!?

We also carved some pumpkins. It was a lot of fun.

Jumping Fun

So now that it is getting cold outside Tucker has finally figured out how to jump in his little jumper. We don't have any door frames in our house that don't run into the ceiling except for our front door. So Tucker gets to jump for a couple more days, maybe a week longer, before we will have to retier the jumper just because there is no point in heating the outside world just so Tucker can jump. I am thinking of nailing or skrewing to wood planks to either side of the beam that separates our kitchen from our front room but i'm not sure how our landlords would like that. Any way Tucker can enjoy it for a little longer.

Play Time

This is Tucker playing the Paino. It is one of his favorite activies to do

New Toys

Bryant got himself a metal detector off ebay back in August. He really enjoys it. We go to the parks and he combs through the sand pits and around the trees. All the little kids gather around him whenever he starts digging a whole. Then they pretend to have a metal detector and start digging in the sand. After they dig so far they exclaim "Oh, just junk." Just like Bryant it is really funny.

Pumkin Fun

We took a trip to Southridge Farms with the moms of the ward this week. It was a lot of Fun! We took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch pulled by a huge tractor (maybe it was a normal size tractor but it looked huge). Tucker really enjoyed the pumpkins.

Tucker is the Pumkin on the far right. Isn't he soooo cute.

Placement Break

Last week I didn't have school beacuse it was placement break at the law school. I love placement break. By about October I am ready for a break from school and the ability to give Bryant more attention. This is the first year that we actually took a mini vacation during placement break.

We went with Bryant's family to San Diego. It was a blast. Bryant and I left Wednseday night after Bryant got off work and stayed with my mom's cousin Keith in Las Vegas. It was a lot of fun to come in on Vegas at night when the whole city was lit up. Then we got up and drove to San Diego on Thursday Morning. We had lunch with some of my extended family there and then met up with Bryant's family. We went to the beach that night and cooked some hot dogs. I don't think I have ever been to the beach at night until this time. It was a lot of fun.

Friday we went to Sea World. What a blast!!! I can't remember ever going to Sea World before so it was fun seeing all the shows and the different exhibts. We happenned to walk past the manta rays during feeding time so we took the oppotunity to feed them. It was kind of frightening. You hold the little sardine between two of your knuckles and stick your hand in the water. Then a manta ray swims over the top of your hand and sucks the sardine up from your hand. You can't see their mouths cause they are on the underside of the manta rays. It was hard to just leave your hand under the water when a bunch of manta rays are swimming at it. I was scared they were going to bite/suck one of my fingers up into their mouths. We also happenned to walk into one of the shops where everything was majorly discounted. We think it was the only "clearance" shop in the whole park. We got Tucker a really cute Baluga Whale wood puzzle. He loves taking it apart.
We didn't want Tucker to get too wet during the show cause we sat in the Wet Zones of course so we put him inside the jacket Bryant was wearing. It was so much fun!!
