Tucker's 8th birthday

Tucker turned 8!

And he got a new soccer ball. Our previous ball has been thoroughly chewed up with so much love from him. I can't believe how old he looks!

He totally lucked out and got to be baptized ON his birthday! He got his own set of scriptures from Grandma Wendy and now loves to play scripture chase with anyone that is willing.

And he got to be baptized with 3 of his best friends!! It was great with lots of family from out of town to join us. We had grandparents and great-grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles, and friends. It was truly a great experience.

Tucker got a present from his Whiting grandparents. They gave him his cub scout uniform and book!

For his birthday cake he wanted donuts and said that we just had to put two of them together to make an 8. It was the easiest birthday cake ever! And since everyone had already had a donut after the baptism, we seriously cut up the two donuts to share between all of us.

That afternoon we waited in the FOREVER long line to see the inside of the Provo City Center Temple. We had ticket reservation but apparently that meant you stood in line for 50 minutes instead of 1.5 hours.

The wait almost killed someone of them :P

We waited at the post office for Bryant to bring the van around to us

After the temple we headed out for Chinese compliments of my Ogden Grandparents. I was so grateful they were able to make it out for this occasion.

On Monday after Tucker's birthday we went to Toys R Us to spend his free $3 they sent him and get a balloon and hat. And of course stop and play in all the cars!

This is probably my favorite picture of the day!
