Christmas

We celebrated Christmas on Sunday. Tucker was sick and could not go to Nursery (well we wouldn't let him go because we know how annoying it is when someone else lets their sick kids come and then they get my kid sick so we didn't let him). So as a consolation prize we opened our presents. Tucker was nice enough to sit in front of the tree for a picture. He was so excited to finally be able to open up the presents that had been sitting under the tree.

Bryant used his super strength to rip open his present.

Hunter really loved the bow on his present.

Tucker really loved helping open Hunter's present.

Tucker got a Lightning McQueen (Dinoco version) Now when he is looking for his two favorite cars (for the moment) he walks around saying da gum da gum da gum (for Mater the tow truck) and ca chow ca chow ca chow (for Lightning McQueen). It is so cute!!!

Tucker really enjoyed opening his presents.

These blocks were made by Bryant, myself, and Bryant's father. It was a fun and $2 Christmas present.

Look at the tower we built

It was destroyed shortly thereafter...

December

One evening after bath time the kids were being extra fun so here are a few pictures

Hunter can actually get up off his belly but he refused to perform once I pulled out the camera

Hunter can sit up so well!!! I didn't know it until I sat him up. He doesn't get as much practice as Tucker did at this age/younger. I moved the couch out of the front room so he spends most of his time on his belly and back instead of on his rump. So I was happy to see that he can sit up so well. In other news he is able to scoot forward. However, as soon as he really tries to go forward to get something he moves backward. Its so precious.

Tucker loves to crawl on anyone as soon as more than their feet are on the ground

Tucker really loves to play inside this toy saucer that we have had since he was a wee one. Every now and again he will see it in the closet and ask to play with it. He is so funny. He only likes to play with it when being on the inside.

Since Hunter is growing so much and we had the toy out I decided to let him try it out. Tucker was really helpful and showed Hunter how to play with all the toys. And if you noticed, that is Bryant sleeping in the background. He is such a great husband. He takes his Sunday naps (when he needs them) in whatever room we are playing so that if I need his help he is right there to assist. I love him so much!!!

Look at those chubby cheeks

Tucker got this really cool track from my mother for Christmas. He loves it!!!

Thanksgiving and other Pics

Tucker loved to jump on my grandparent's trampoline!!

These are my maternal grandparents. It is always fun to see them at Thanksgiving

Tucker is ready to play some games

Hunter didn't know what to do with all the attention he got!

Family Pictures

Well taking family pictures with two children is not super easy. Here are 5 of the gazillon pictures we took. Tucker was done taking pictures after about the first two so my sister Natalie would jump out from behind my sister Michelle to try and get Tucker to smile. It was interesting to say the least...

November thus far

So I wasn't going to post another picture of Bryant's foot but then I found out that Tucker was taking after him.

Tucker got a hold of the camera and was taking pictures and he took a picture of his foot too. They are both so silly.

One of Hunter's favorite things to do is lay on the floor and hold onto his toes. Up until this month he had only been grabbing his right foot as shown in the picture below.

He has been working hard on grabbing both feet and finding it difficult

But as you can see he has mastered grabbing both feet this month.

The side effect of holding on to both of your feet is that Hunter often finds himself on his side, fortunately for those involved, being on his side is okay with him as well. :)

Whenever I/Bryant try to take Tucker's picture we have to stand farther back then one would think because once Tucker realizes that you have a camera (even if not pointed at him) he comes over and tries to take it from you.

As you can see this picture turned out because Tucker didn't realize what was going on.

Random Picture of Hunter

After a hard day of playing Hunter happily sleeps while I make dinner (thank goodness because it is almost impossible to make dinner with him in my arms and keep Tucker out of the way).

Bryant noticed that the house was a little quieter than usual and when he got up to investigate he found Tucker sitting in the pantry playing with the blender. He is always so quiet when he is up to something. Earlier this week he grab one of the packages of wet wipes, moved out of Bryant's peripheral vision, and then proceeded to pull wet wipe after wet wipe out until he had a nice pile going. Fortunately Bryant noticed what was going on before all of the wet wipes were pulled out. While some find that a quiet house is a peaceful, enjoyable thing, around here it means that someone is up to no good.

Here is another example of what happens when Tucker is being too quiet. We were all in the same room together even. Bryant was working on the computer on his class and I was holding Hunter. After a few minutes of quiet, it dawns on me that the house is really quiet. I look over and notice that Tucker has colored himself blue with a marker. It is on his face, feet, hands, and legs. Fortunately, it all washed off.
