May, I know that I am super behind

This is the month that Gunnar started walking. It took forever to actually catch it on video because as soon as I pulled out the camera to record he would drop down and crawl over to me to see what was going on. Here are some of my attempts to capture his prowess

I hemmed Bryant's work pants and cut of the extra fabric along the bottom (always a scary thing to do because there is no going back once they are cut). Tucker thought the extra pieces made good earings

Brylee then felt the need to put something on her head to have her picture taken.

Here is another failed attempt at capturing Gunnar's walking. You can hear Brylee speaking and Bryant and I having a conversation about how Gunnar walks all the time and I am unable to capture it on camera.

Bryant's father came up during Women's Conference and hung out with us while his mother attended conference with her sisters. We love having family visit, no matter the length of time!

Tucker purchased a volcano with some of his hard earned cash (most of it was found in Easter eggs at Cousin Keith's egg hunt). Here he is watching Bryant get it started.

After the paper mache was dried everyone helped paint it. There was not nearly enough paint to cover the entire thing (disappointing) so we used up the rest of the paint we had, which was almost all dried out.

Tucker still thought it was the coolest thing ever! (He still talks about it months later and likes to explode it for guests)

Picture on the couch :P

We went to Toys R Us so Gunnar could experience the "cars"

The weather has been beautiful in May and so we made a few trips to the park. Tucker mastered the monkey bars so Hunter decided to master them as well. Tucker had to take a short break after I got the camera because he had already done them so many times before I grabbed it.

Gunnar love to play peek-a-boo but gets a little distracted by the camera. The rest of the children are just a little crazy

Here is a puppet show written by Tucker and produced by Tucker and Hunter

This is what was left of my delicious Mother's Day breakfast that Bryant made. Waffles with homemade strawberry "syrup", whipped cream and strawberry slices. It was delicious

Gunnar sure does get tired of me trying to convince him to walk for the camera :)

Provo Library had a Children's fair that was loads of fun. Here are pictures of the kids face paint.

Hunter opted to have his arm painted instead of his face

It was Hunter's job to conduct in family home evening once this month and we told him he had to wave his arm during the opening song so we could sing. He is beautiful

Here is proof that Gunnar knows what he is being told and knows that he should not take books off the shelf, unfortunately, his knowing does not keep him from trying to take the books off when we are not looking

Here is a picture of Hunter with Tucker's treasures. Not sure how that ended up.

all ready for bed

And I did it!! It only took a month but I caught Gunnar walking!

We were given this small bike from a neighbor when they moved out so Bryant took off the training wheels and put the boys on it. They both rode splendidly. For whatever reason, they did not care much for riding it beyond a few times and then requested the training wheels back on.
