Our final day together was full of minute to win it games (planned by Isaac and Juli) It was a bunch of fun!
Before we began we had a quick couple of rounds of duck duck goose :)
Creating the signs
Balancing ornaments on a yard stick balanced on a paper towel tube
wrapping someone in toilet paper in under a minute. Hunter, who loves to spin, got really dizzy
wearing nylons on your head with a ball in the end, swing like an elephant and knock down the water bottles
the children found a safe place to observe the "kick your shoe off and have it land on the table" game
empty all of the tissues out of a tissue box (Aleisa's friend Lyndi had super mom skills!)
poke straws in to a potato and then balance m&ms on the ends. A lot harder to do with helping children :)
move the cookie to your mouth, using only your facial muscles. Daniel was at quite the disadvantage because the cooking kept following his mustache and sliding right off his face!
wear a tissue box on your back and shake all the ping pong balls out
bounce ping pong balls along the table into an egg carten
shake tic tacs attached to rulers, out of the canister while holding it in your mouth. Hunter was a pro. Lyndi's daughter got some stage fright so Brylee helped her finish. It was perfect for the little ones!
pop balloons while wearing hot pads
the final scores. There were bunches of games and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves
Early Monday, before I could convince myself out of bed, Hunter and Tucker took the candles from Uncle Seth's birthday and decorated a cube of butter. My poor brother Isaac was then constantly reminded about the time he ate butter at Thanksgiving to gain an extra plate in the "stuff yourself" contest of long ago with his cousins. Everyone who saw the plate commented about how it was for Uncle Isaac :)
Monday evening was filled with lots of games, good food, good company and fireworks (compliments of Jacob and Natalie)
Here is Emilee with your baby girl Maelee!
A game of Settlers of Catan ready to play
the fireworks professionals. They put on two shows! One around 7 for all the children and another one at midnight for the actual new year!
